Welcome. I'm Connor Beaton, and today we're going to talk about depression. This is a topic that I've had a lot of people reach out about over the past few years.

And it's something that I haven't really actually covered. I think I've talked about it here and there, but I've never actually addressed it directly.

on the mini episode, I am going to talk about depression from a philosophical standpoint first,

just to give some context into my personal beliefs and views on it. And then I'm going to share

two different types of depression that I see, especially in a lot of men, but also in a lot of women.

And those two types are overt depression and covert depression.

And I share some of the signs of each of them and how you can kind of see them and how you can

support yourself or others because depression is something that so many people struggle with.
