Well, I decided we're going to just talk about some funny news stories that happen this week.

Cool. Let's see what happened in the news. First, a feel good story out of Oregon.

This is out of Lake Aswago, and this is from KGW8, a local NBC affiliate.

It says, Rescue Cat detects dangerous gas leak at Lake Aswago home, saving owners.

What a hero. I love a pet saving the owner's lives story.

So good. And you hear it sometimes. Yeah, definitely.

Like a dog detects earthquake before it happens.

Or like a cat annoying their owner to wake them up.

Right. Because that's actually for a reason.

Right. Because the house is filling with smoke.

Yeah. I've heard a few of the cat stories like that.

Cats are very smart and very.

It says, Rescue Cat in Lake Aswago and her impeccable sense of smell alerted her family to a gas leak on Friday.

The cat, Lily and the owner, Sandy Martin, were playing on the living room floor when Lily stopped to go sniff the fireplace valve.

I went over and sniffed and there was a natural gas smell.

Martin said, it was very faint. So I didn't really trust my nose.

Then I asked my husband to sniff it too. And he sniffed it too.

Sandy's husband called their gas company, NY Natural, who told them to shut off everything in that room,

including their cell phones and open the doors.

The gas company employee got to their house in 20 minutes in the snow and ice storm.
