| 0:00.0 | Hi there and welcome to Forever 35, a podcast about the things we do to take care of ourselves. |
| 0:18.0 | I'm Kate Spencer. I'm Dory Shefrier and we're not experts. |
| 0:21.0 | But we are two friends who like to talk a lot about serums. |
| 0:25.0 | And this is a mini episode. Sure is. And before we get started, just want to remind everyone that this very weekend, we will be in Austin, Texas. |
| 0:36.0 | Right. This very second doing a live podcast and it's Saturday, March 9th at 2 p.m. |
| 0:43.0 | And then the next day, Sunday, March 10th, we're doing a meetup with Jackie Johnson of Natch but one of our Fave podcasts. |
| 0:51.0 | And that's from 5 to 7 p.m. We do ask that you RSVP for that. It's not, we're not, there's no charge but just RSVP so we know when people are coming. |
| 1:00.0 | We will link to that in the show notes. We'll also have a link to info about our live podcast in the show notes. Please come. |
| 1:08.0 | Please come. And on this here, many episodes, which is where we take your voicemails and your email questions and comments. |
| 1:15.0 | You can always reach us at our voicemail 7 815 N10390 or our email for ever 35 podcast at gmail.com. |
| 1:25.0 | Dory, we have a really lovely response from a listener about a past mini episode. Great. I love a listener response. |
| 1:32.0 | So I'm going to keep you up and hit it off. |
| 1:34.0 | Hi, I'm just calling in response to the listener question you had on a recent mini episode about prist-for-dom depression |
| 1:44.0 | and that nasty comment that her dad made. I was moved to tears with me into her experience because I have three children and I have gone through prist-for-dom depression with all three. |
| 1:59.0 | And I just felt for her and I wish a good contact her and just go have coffee with her and chat because what she's going through is so real. |
| 2:12.0 | And I also wanted to commend her for recognizing that she needs help and not not she means herself for that. She's seen the therapist and going on medication, both of which things I've done and I needed to do to get through that first year. |
| 2:29.0 | And specifically about the name, saying the baby name, not calling her baby by the name. |
| 2:36.0 | I actually went through that too. I think that it is a terrible comment for your dad to say. But I wanted to just emphasize that I did that as well for the first few months of all three of my girls' lives. |
| 2:55.0 | I think it's something where you're just trying out the name and you're actually getting to know this human. And I think it's totally justified and it has nothing to do with who you are as a mother. |
| 3:07.0 | You're clearly a fabulous mother and that's so easy to judge yourself and be hard on yourself. I just, that message that you left, it made me feel like it was me talking. |
| 3:21.0 | So I wish I could just lose out and do re-incait if you could pass on this message to her somehow. |
| 3:28.0 | What you're going through is so normal. No one talks about it enough. I've been there and you're going to be okay. Give it time that it bounces with your dad. |
