So, Rod, where we were leaving off on the last episode, we were talking about, you brought up an excellent segue to something that I was just talking to my wife about today, which is this, you brought up

the David and Bathsheba moment. And her question is, well, what if a believer goes through,

you know, a very, yeah, David and Bathsheba type of season in life where they're, you know, they're really walking in sin, in rebellion to God.

My answer to that is I think at that point you're in danger, that if you continue in that, again, it goes back to the parable of the sewer, you're in danger of

letting those thorns and weeds choke out the good soil plant so that it bears no fruit and it's

tossed into the fire. And I've heard anecdotally similar things from people I know.

I had a coworker who was professed faith in his teens or 20s, something like that. And then he was kind of doing his own thing.

And he was sowing his wild oats and he did that for

a number of years i believe and he literally heard god in his mind at one point say knock it off or

else and it was kind of that esther moment that you just mentioned on the last episode,

like you're literally going to die if you don't do this.

This is the time.

This is now or never, right?

Make it or break it.

And then we had a guest on the show, John Myler, who had a similar thing where God was like,

yeah, you better knock it off or you're not going to like what I'm going to send your way.

So I know that's a bit of a sidebar, but even in the first parts of this mini series,
