Hello friends, it is hard to believe we are at the end of the first quarter of the year,

but I suppose the good news is that means it's time for March microdelights.

Today I want to start with a couple of beauty picks and then pivot to some household

related things. My first micro delight is Jones Road Beauty's What the Foundation. I started

playing around with Jones Road Beauty last fall and shared a whole bunch about this in a

substack post on skincare and makeup routines. I will share that link in the show

notes. People were very into it. And there's one particular hero from this collection that I've

been meaning to share in a microdelights episode, and it is the what the foundation, which is their

signature liquid foundation. I love this product for a number of reasons. While you can use a

brush to apply it, it's also just fine applying it with your finger, which I like because not

using brushes means not having to clean brushes. This product also blends in really easily,

and you can layer coverage, but it looks very, very natural.

That's the whole ethos of the line.

What the foundation also doubles as moisturizer and actually the first time I used it, I didn't

read the instructions and I put my moisturizer on first and that was not good.

If I'm going straight from the shower to makeup, then I do use a little eye cream first

as recommended, but otherwise you can just use the foundation and the built-in
