Hello friends and welcome to the mini edit from Edit Your Life. In these snack-sized mini-episode

0:08.8

episodes, I answer your questions about everything from self-care to parenting, to relationships,

0:14.0

to home, and more. Think of me like that friend you text or call when you need a quick piece

0:19.2

of compassionate and candid advice.

Send me your questions. Hello friends. It is time for February microdelights, and I have two

0:27.8

related to food and three related to staying cozy. My first pick related to food is King Arthur's

0:34.9

No Bake Chocolate and Date Energy bars. So I have attempted a lot of granola

1:17.8

these bars come across my feed. I actually waited to make them when Laurel came home earlier

1:23.0

this month because I figured of everyone in my house she would enjoy them most. These bars do involve

1:28.9

nuts in the base, so I was careful around prep and labeling, given the nut allergy on our

1:33.3

house, and they are delicious and hold together beautifully. I followed the recipe to the letter,

1:40.4

but I will say that I did choose to use honey instead of maple syrup. They gave both options

1:45.0

because I figured the stickiness of the honey would help things hold together, per my earlier

1:50.3

concern about structure. The base otherwise is oats, cashews, salt, dates, coconut oil, and vanilla,
