Let's start with a TV show. It is a man on the inside, and I came to this a little unconventionally.

I will admit that I have been a complete crumagine about

AI. I'm just an old school writer and thinker type. However, I recently decided I need to

lean into curiosity and see how it could be helpful, not as a source of brain rot or laziness.

And so I decided to try Claude and asked it, looking for a mystery

movie on Netflix, in the spirit of Anola Holmes, a mystery that is lighthearted, yet well done,

and not gory. I actually had already seen the first round of recommendation, so after another

exchange, I got to some additional recommendations that included Netflix's

A Man on the Inside, which stars Ted Danson as a retired professor who becomes an undercover

investigator in a San Francisco retirement community.

This show is absolutely delightful.

Charming.

It somehow balances elderly stereotypes in a fun, lighthearted, and

on-point way. Lots of little jokes throughout wonderful characters. Season one was so captivating

that I kept looking forward to when I next had time to watch. That is such a gift. I love when

that happens. Season two, I will admit, did not have the

same magic for me personally, though a real highlight is seeing Mary Steenbergen on the show
