Hello, friends, I'm very excited to share some fantastic

romance novels with you. And if romance novels haven't been your thing to date, please listen

up because I am going to make a very good case for four books today. The first is Throne for a Loop

by Serena Bowen. I loved her thriller The Five-Year

and Throne for a Loop is very different. It's contemporary romance and I adored it. I've had this

one in The Hopper to share for a while, actually, since I just didn't have that many romances

in my cue. I happened to start reading this book during the U.S. figure skating championships,

which I was following closely, so basically early January was all about figure skating for me.

The plot follows a former Olympic silver medalist named Zoe who gets a gig as a hockey

skating coach in New York, where her teen ex-chase is a hockey star. Chase has been on the struggle bus,

and Zoe is primed to help him, but their history is making that difficult.

The book alternates between present day and about nine and a half years back, where their romance

unfolds, then is torpedoed. This is such a fun romance novel, and Serena Bowen's writing is fun and easy to read,
