Hey there, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. It's our opportunity right now to get our

minds aligned with the truth of God's word for this day. And that word truth really matters,

because there are false teachings that exist. Many false teachings in our modern society that we need to have our eyes open for.

And today we're going to be looking at one of those false teachings has to do with our mindset,

actually, our mind war that we're learning to fight. I'm going to be looking at 1 Timothy

chapter 6 versus 3 through 5. So get out your Bibles and get ready. We're going to dive in in just a moment. let's go to 1st Timothy chapter 6 versus 3 through 5, and first of all, go to God in prayer, because we need him to be our helper today.

Lord God, through your Holy Spirit, help us to understand your word, help us to see it fleshed out in the real life examples of the the lives we live so we can recognize how this

description fits what we see in our world and then help us to apply it in a way that avoids

falling prey to the false teachers of our day. We ask it in Jesus' name, amen.

All right, 1 Timothy chapter 6 verses 3 3 through 5. Paul begins, speaking to his

protege here, if anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our

Lord Jesus Christ in the teaching that accords with godliness. He's puffed up and conceded and understands nothing. Okay, now pause for a moment.

Notice what Paul's doing. He's saying, Timothy, there are going to be people out there who teach

things differently than what I've taught you. It's not going to center on Jesus. And if it does

center on Jesus, it's not going to accord with godliness. So in other words, it's not going to be

teaching about Jesus that leads to godliness. So in other words, it's going to be twisted in some

way because Jesus does teach teaching that accords with godliness. And that person you need to

recognize is the problem. They are puffed up with conceit. They think they know better than the basic

teachings of the scripture. And in reality, they understand nothing. Okay, now if we continue in verse
