Okay, before we dive into Philippians chapter 4 verse number 8 and think about our own thoughts, I know that's a little meta, we're going to get to it, let's pray and ask the Lord for his instruction today.

Lord Jesus, no matter where we are, you will meet us there.

We're confident of it.

You'll help us to unravel our anxious thoughts.

You'll help us to calm our troubled spirits and be ready to receive

which you have for us today. We ask you to be our teacher through the power of

your Holy Spirit. Be faithful to us. Guide us to understand your word and apply it to our lives

in a way that makes a difference for your kingdom today. We ask it in Jesus' name.

All right, friends, open up your Bible to Philippians, chapter 4, verse number 8. I'm going to read it to you and then we're going to talk about it.

It says finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is

pure, whatever is lovely, commendable,

if there is any excellence, if there's anything worthy of praise,

think about these things.
