This league keeps us engaged five months before the season starts. The NFL draft

is the second biggest sporting event in the United States after the Super Bowl.

Let that sink it. Let's let that sink in. Nashville became the epicenter of worldwide sports and no games were played last weekend. Think about that. And because of the lead up to the draft, months and months of

off-season analysis, it is the most talked about event in American sports. It's more talked about than the Super Bowl because there's a lot more time to discuss the possibilities for every team's individual draft pick.

There's only so many ways you can hypothesize how Bill Bellacek is going to own Sean McVeigh.

But there are many more ways that Chris Ballard and how He Roseman can own their contemporaries in NFL front offices.

Oh yes.

Now I laid this out on the Sonic Truth Podcast, but let me provide a bulleted list of things that NFL teams

that focus on the right details do on draft day.
