I'm going to go and Oh There were a number of winners crowned at the NFL scouting combine but sadly some prospects were losers and the biggest loser of all had one of the most impressive

workouts of them all the biggest loser was Chase Claypool.

And I know you're thinking, that's not possible.

He's explosive. He's big. He was relatively productive at Notre Dame last season.

What more do you want, Podfather?

I want Chase Claypool to fit within

a successful production and stature archetype because I don't see one in the database for

Chase Claypool.

And you're going to say, well, what about Mike Evans?

Mike Evans has the 115.7 speed score with the great burst at 6.5,

230 plus pounds. That's true, but he was only 231 and Mike Evans was a monster producer at Texas A&M.

Two years at Texas A&M's first year, over 1100 yards,

his second year over 1300 yards.

Chase Claypool is 7 pounds heavier than Mike Evans and not nearly as smooth.

If Mike Evans were at the Senior Bowl, he would have been the Alpha at the Senior Bowl.

I saw Chase Claypool lumbering around the senior ball thinking to myself when is this guy going to figure out that he's not a wide receiver he's a tight end look at Stephen Sullivan

Stephen Sullivan was the same size as Chase Claypool three months ago and decided he was going to be a

tight end in the NFL. That was his path. He was not wide receiver. He was a wide receiver

at LSU who looked a lot like Chase Claypool and he made the right choice.
