counterintuitive. It sounds counterintuitive because it is counterintuitive, but it's true.

Season to season, efficiency can be as much a red herring as it is a positive indicator.

Every year, we see players overdrafted in seasonal leagues as fantasy gamers chase last year's

unsustainable efficiency. So we often pay less attention to the efficiency metrics when projecting players from one year to the next.

However, when players flash exceptional efficiency, it is a window into their ability, their quality as players for the long term.

In seasonal leagues, opportunity is king.

You need to know what that players role is going to be,

how many touches, how many targets.

But in Dynasty, if we have these players roster for their careers,

the opportunity will present itself eventually. Look at Adam Thelin. Adam Thelin went from week 17 waiver

wire ad to W.R. 1 in fantasy within a year. At age 26, did Adam Thelan just suddenly become good at football?

No, he was good at football all along.

And football players are presented with opportunities to give us a window into their abilities

in pre-season and during the regular season in bursts.

And that's something you need to pay special attention to in Dynasty.

So you can stockpile as many players on your bench that are good at football.

And on our running back pages we have copious efficiency metrics.

We have row after row of efficiency metrics and those metrics have more utility for Dynasty leagues than they do in redraft.

Take juke rate for example. Look at the players that have been consistently finishing among the top 10

most elusive running backs in the NFL. It's Aaron Jones, it's Nick Chub, it's Alvin

Camara, it's Joe Mixin. Sure a Duke Johnson will find his way
