handle the truth! The truth is the analytics movement in football will be fine. I am not outraged by the firing of

Sashi Brown. I'm just not. I predicted it this off season. Now Sam Henke was a cautionary tale for Sashi Brown.

You can't tank over multiple years.

You can tank one season.

You can have one, one in 15 or 0 in 16 season one you string together consecutive one in

15 or oh and 16 seasons you yourself the general manager is at risk of being fired

and not be in a position to watch the analytical efforts of the

front office bear fruit and that's what's happened in Cleveland.

And they were unlucky.

Just look at the point differential for the

Browns versus other franchises in the NFL. They were hugely unlucky. The Browns

could be a four-win team right now. It would help if they had a more competent coach. So in some ways, you could argue,

Saatch Brown was betrayed by his adversary, Hugh Jackson, his internal adversary.

But the Miami Dolphins of the Cleveland Browns had a similar point differential,

and yet the Miami Dolphins have five wins.

Denver Broncos have three wins.

Bears have three wins.

So it's easy to imagine a scenario in which the Cleveland Browns

are three win franchise at this moment and if that's the case I don't think

Sasha Brown gets fired but the reality is the team is Owen 12.

And the owner of this franchise is Jim Haslam.
