to transition into has no graceful entry point.

So I'm just going to go for it.

I'm going to burrow straight to the meat of it and just say death is obviously the most fearsome

frontier on the horizon of the human experience.

And we tend to ignore things that scare us.

We tend to avoid them at all costs.

We tend not to discuss them. And really that is the most ridiculous tactic possible because death is the existential elephant in the room of life. It is like the karmic debt collector we refuse to take a call from, but we really should.

And I get why, it makes sense, the unraveling of all that you are is, to put it

mildly an intimidating thing. That said, when I speak to experts on this topic,

people who have lived it, in Dr. Eben Alexander's case,

people who have stared in the face of it repeatedly like Dr. Raymond

Moody. These are not somber people, these are not fearful people. These are humans brimming with positivity and motivation and drive and just general zeal for the mystery.
