But the era of quantum holographic virtual weirdness is upon us.

And I am not entirely sure what that means,

but I am hugely fascinated by it and I do follow the news and I try to absorb as much information on it as a dummy like me can.

And over the past couple of years, the idea that we may be living in a universe that has

properties that sound a whole lot like a simulation has really been gaining steam.

Some people get really uncomfortable with this idea,

but for me, the higher the resolution gets

on the universe's mysteries, the more excited I get,

and what bigger mystery is there than the nature of the fabric of reality, even better,

how it all relates to consciousness.

From a scientific standpoint, this stuff is most definitely controversial,

especially when you start trying to take

consciousness and quantum physics

and trying to connect them somehow, I get that.

And I think it's because it's a sort of philosopher's stone, right?

It's this mercurial merging agent that marries two worlds.

It marries the world of objective material-based science and subjective consciousness.

And for a lot of scientists, that's as uncosure as it gets.
