Now the ministering Third Third-I-drops. In the minds of most human beings on the planet Earth, the topic of America probably brings to mind

cliche images of suburbia and nuclear families, or maybe cities like New York and LA or quite possibly

hellfire missiles depending upon your particular point of latitude and longitude.

But definitely absent from that list is utopian communities filled with guru devotees

that meditate all day in hopes that eventually they'll be able to exist in a state of constant

cosmic consciousness and manifest world peace whilst levitating.

Though that does sound a lot more exciting than my chicken nugget and BPA-filled upbringing.

Also gushhers.

I was super into gushers unfortunately.

But digressing from the fruit snacks, as quite frankly appealing and whimsical as living in that sort of unconventional upbringing sounds to me from

my current vantage point.

It was actually everyday life for our guest on this show, Claire Hoffman.

She did spend a good portion of her childhood living on the grounds of the transcendental

meditation movements compound in Fairfield, Iowa.

She actually learned to meditate even before that at the age of three.
