Wonderful to be with you, of course.

And speaking of wonder, one of my biggest obsessions, as of late, is the trickster archetype.

You may have guessed that based on the musings, on the pod as of late and I could come at this from a lot of

angles I could come at it from the angle of individual myths, both eastern and western, the many names of the

trickster and their respective iconography and symbolism. But that's not what's most important, really

it and every myth only matters as deeply as it penetrates our own psyches and lives.

Right? I mean, that's the only way any mythological symbol actually resonates.

It has to subjectively enhance the way you understand your mind

and the lens through which we look at the world. And though this is a partial spoiler for both the the pod and the book, you deserve

a sneak peek and it's on my mind anyway. And particularly what's on my mind is that I think the wisdom of the

trickster the way the trickster primarily enlightens is through the negation and disillusion of boundaries.

I mean nearly every trickster myth I've encountered has this theme, this mechanism where he fools a person

or persons and creates all matter of mischief just to remind the prankeys that the structure isn't real.

It may be necessary, but it's not real.

It is a game we are playing.

Not a game we play inconsequentially, mind you,

but still a game we play.

And Alan Watts talks beautifully about this too.

He likens it to playing music.
