It really is. It's never lost on me, just how weird and wonderful this thing is because I sense

a ramble coming on, but still I will go there. Because phenomena just kind of have a way of creeping in. They just become normal. They just gradually happen until suddenly they're so deeply entrenched with your life

you don't even notice. They form a kind of symbiosis so deep with your psyche. You don't even think of them as alien anymore.

I know this sounds like super esoteric when I say it like that.

But let's return to the low hanging fruit.

Podcasting.

At first it was this cute thing

that a few people listen to

and even fewer people participated in until gradually it

wasn't and went from being this fledgling media phenomenon to a force on par with almost anything else out there.

And we hardly even marvel at it, but we should because if we could somehow process the Gestalt, the sort of some total overall media being in all of its parts.

Podcasting would be one of the most dominant gods of the day.

It would be the talk of the techno Mount Olympus.

It would be the one that pulled itself out of the dirt

and obscurity by its binary bootstraps to the very top of the techno tower.

And what's even more fascinating

is what this

true nature would be because if I had to classify it it would be the God of oral thought
