our little nest for conversational novelty nuggets, in which case I welcome you with overflowing

potions of curiosity, amazing guests, lame jokes, and a patchy bearded face.

But you don't need to worry about that because this is a podcast.

I was just rolling another conversation prior to recording this intro. And it occurred to me that in the mind of every

single creative person on the planet Earth there is a fantasy the idea that there will be at some point in the future a time where

everything culminates and you reach the crest of the seemingly never-ending Sissifis Hill you have been ritualistically

pushing your chosen creative boulder up and then I think along the way you realize that this fantasy is both true and

untrue but for it to be true you need to realign your priorities in most cases pretty radically especially if you are

the type of creative that is constantly scratching and clawing for never-ending

relevance and approval and really just get back to

focusing on your craft and in the process of doing that you will discover your uniqueness and as a consequence people will just

naturally congregate to the authenticity that you've uncovered. And the key to doing that

successfully is actually enjoying the process of creation,

remembering that to create is the very height of what it is to be a human being at all.

Because it's an activity that as far as we it is to be a human being at all.

Because it's an activity that as far as we know,

we are the only being on this planet capable of partaking in.
