I hope you are lovely on a microcosmic level. We are all

incrementally perpetuating an unimaginable

unimaginable macroscopic meta narrative,

what I guess we could collectively call

the tale of humankind or the mythos of man if you will in a non-gendered sense.

Though I think that thing, whatever that is is impossible to fully grock.

I also think that true genius visionaries like Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell have come very close to poetically capturing this

unimaginable epic. I know that I'm continuously returning to Campbell's book,

Hero with a thousand faces, whenever I'm thirsty

for inspiration, perspective, or existential context,

I really truly can't recommend that book or his power of myth conversations with Bill Moyers enough.

They're so sensational.

And I believe those conversations are on Netflix now.

So definitely do yourself a favor

and gobble those up as soon as possible. But it's hard to apply these

maps to ourselves directly because we all know how flawed we are.

We all know our own deepest, darkest fears and insecurities.

So surely we can't be whatever it is that an archetypical hero is surely these maps like

Campbell's monomith or hero's journey mustn't be talking about us directly they mustn't be applicable to us on an individual level, right?
