you got to not care about the income or the outcome, you got to not care about the failures or the successes, you got to not care about you or them.

You gotta not care about the action or the reaction.

You gotta simply follow your soul's nose like a two-canned Sam to the cosmic fruit loops of creation.

And that, of course, was the freedom demon

from his chart-topping,

interstellar billboard hit Freedom Raps, unplugged, of course, reminding us what true freedom is.

And I actually believe that his definition is quite accurate because if you think about the nature of pure freedom,

it's a state of no attachments at all and and most of us don't think about it that way.

Most of us think about freedom as changing things up, rolling the dice of destiny, taking a leap of faith and hoping

the universe will catch you and caress you as it whisked you away on the

magic carpet of your dreams down the rainbow road of your

fate to a first place finish where you will rain supreme as your future perfect self for all of time, as if perfection is some

static state that can be achieved.

And I'm not saying something like that can't happen.

Maybe there is some aspect of reality that nudges you down the existential trail with

synchronicities or something.

But if you're thinking that way, you're not really free.

You're relying on faith or some unseen fortune to help you achieve a particular outcome and that is not free.

True freedom requires an almost total absence of even considering outcome.

Maybe it's easier to just say you're clearly not free
