This actually is a technodelic transmission because we have

master shaman Hamilton Souther back in the mind meld and I have to say shaman plus podcast equals

technodelic if that doesn't equal technodelic, I'm not sure what does.

Riffing with Hamilton always gets my wonder dander up, of course, but I think it's particularly

poignant talking to him on the heels of last week's show with Dr. Matthew

Johnson because it presents us with an interesting dichotomy.

On one hand, we've got Hamilton,

who's as entrenched in a classical psychedelic tradition

as a Westerner really can be.

The guy lived in the Amazon for over a decade and went through a full wild reality quaking identity

shattering death-defying initiation process.

But anyway, on the complementary yet opposite side, we also, as I mentioned, just had Dr. Matthew Johnson on the show

who is as entrenched in the modern academic psychedelic context as anyone possibly can be.
