As always, immense gratitude for wielding your qualia in such a way that it resulted in the

series of meat wiggles necessary to hit play on and receive

this program. So happy to have you. To be human is to be human is to be liminal. Right? We are a loft between the physical and the

mental, the objective and the

rational and imaginary meaning and chaos.

And of course, we remain in that kind of existential agnostic free fall throughout the duration of our lives.

But that doesn't mean we don't latch on a particular

narratives. It's whatever makes the most sense to us, whatever feels best,

whatever is the most utilitarian or convenient for our particular circumstance, is where

we end up most of the time.

But typically those with extreme intellectual gifts tend to gain a certain

sovereignty over life and they exercise that empowerment by becoming successful in some field, right?

Maybe multiple fields if they're truly brilliant.

I'm thinking of the Isaac Newton's, the da Vinci's, the Stephen Hawking's,

perhaps.

But the rarest thing of all is to have one of these intellectual paragons that rejects the worldly in favor of prostrating themselves before the unknown, begging for a morsel of divine knowledge,

everything else be damned.

And that is exactly what this podcast is largely about.
