| 0:49.5 | Wonderful. I'll take it. Anytime I'm on the podium. Oh, thank you. Yes. How should we begin? I don't know. How did you know you were a mentalist? Well, it's not something you really learn about yourself. It's something that you slowly gain an interest in over time. Do you want to hear the story of how I really got into this whole world? Absolutely. Cool. So I'm lucky enough to say I have the greatest parents in the world, like by far. My dad was supportive of me no matter what I was doing. Didn't matter if it was soccer, T-ball, magic, theater. He was there to support me, maybe coach the team, and then read me a bedtime story later that night. That's the kind of dad he was. In fact, I'll show one thing he used to do that is just so powerful. If ever I would misbehave, like every kid does sometimes, he would never make me feel like that's who I was. In fact, he would do the opposite. He would say, this is unusual. This is not like you, Christoph. And he would separate me from whatever bad behavior I was doing. That's very smart. A lot of parents don't do that. He's the best. |
