I learned that lesson seven years ago with Frank as we were reminiscing before we started

recording when Chris Middleton tore his hamstring and I had to beg him on my hands and knees

to rerecord the podcast. So I still owe you one for that. But we need to talk first

I think, you know, this is no room to get into it with the team preview. But Yannis had some

comments that ignited a little bit of a firestorm. I guess we'll I want to get your opinion on how

much in the New York Times. Frank, first of all, welcome on. And second, let's, I feel like we

were here three years ago, but now we are here again with Yannis and Kupa. Yeah, I think we will

continue to be here probably, you know, every year. I think I think Yannis's future,

regardless of his extent, whatever his contract is, especially when you factor in the bucks and

and the age of the core around him, you know, the group that he's now won a championship with.

I think every year, you know, even if he signs an extension a year from now, you know,

with the way things are now with players asking to be traded, even if they're they're not

impending for agents. You know, I think the reality is Yannis has come to realize that he is in a

privileged position that he can apply pressure to the box as an organization and they have spent

an incredible amount of money to their credit. They have spent a ton of money the last couple

years to retain the core that that won the mid championship. And I think he realizes that,

you know, it's in his interest to not just sign at the earliest instance a new extension.

It's not in his interest to just sort of say, hey, whatever whatever you guys want to do is cool

with me. I'll sign. I want to say here forever. I'm loyal. I think he realizes that, you know,

probably for his career and also just for keeping them honest and making sure that they continue to
