Hank Hanegraaff, president of the Christian Research Institute and host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast, shares more of his experiences of ministering and teaching through Southeast Asia alongside the extraordinary, Christ-honoring ministry of Gospel for Asia, under the leadership of Metropolitan Yohan. Upon arriving in a remote village, many hundreds of people line up to greet Hank and his team. Consider that these people are first generation Christians “on fire” for their faith in Christ! It is as though being in the Book of Acts. Their church building is packed shoulder-to-shoulder for the entirety of the service—they are completely engaged as they absorb the liturgy. As they pray the Lord’s Prayer. As they recite the Nicene Creed. As they receive the Eucharist and worship God in Spirit and in Truth. What a glorious experience to see their faces and recognize that what happened in the first century can and is happening in the twenty-first century in the Global South, where the Spirit of God is moving mightily. Totaling thousands of churches, Believers Eastern Church with millions of first generation Christians need training in the Faith. They’ve come to faith in Christ and need to become reproducing disciple makers themselves. Hank is deeply grateful to be playing a part in the process of equipping and teaching these extraordinary people. 0:19.0	in Southeast Asia.
0:22.1	After a drive of almost three hours, maybe a little longer, we came to a remote village.
0:33.8	And as we pulled up to that village, there were lines and lines of people, people numbering,
0:42.8	not just in the hundreds, but actually maybe a thousand or more people.
0:52.2	And what was particularly moving about these people is not only their acts of kindness
1:01.4	towards us, their excitement to see these visitors from the United States, but to recognize that these are first-generation Christians.
1:15.1	So think about this.
1:17.0	We're getting out of the car and we're having lays put around our neck.
1:24.5	We're walking through streams of people who are throwing flowers at our feet.
1:33.3	It is as though you're in the book of Acts, quite literally in the book of Acts.
1:42.3	First generation people on fire for their faith.
1:49.3	And then you go into their church buildings such as it is where all these people are packed in,
2:00.0	seat to seat, shoulder to shoulder shoulder they're just sitting on the floor
2:03.3	and they're there for maybe it was a little more than three hours sitting not bored
2:12.3	not uninterested but completely engaged as they absorbed the liturgy, as they prayed the Lord's prayer,
2:24.4	as they recited the creeds, as they worshipped God, as their senses were engaged through incense and through light, through candles, it was a glorious
2:45.1	experience to see their faces and to recognize that what happened in the first century can happen in the
2:57.1	21st century. These churches, they're called Believers Eastern Church, at least the churches
3:06.0	that I had visited, they number in the thousands,
3:11.3	people numbering in the millions. Well, as first generation Christians, what do they need?
