1:30.2	But nonetheless, as a pick-me-up, I'm very excited to have a new guest on The Remnant and also a
1:36.2	relatively new contributor to the dispatch, Jeremiah Johnson.
1:40.8	He's a co-founder of something called The Center for New Liberalism, and he's also
1:44.5	the author of The Excellent Substack, which is one of the things that caught our attention, Infinite
1:50.5	Scroll. Jeremiah, I loved you in the 1972 film where you were played by Robert Redford. Thanks for
1:56.8	coming on. Thanks for having me. And it's funny, this is a very like age-related thing where only people above a certain age get that reference. I was actually named after that movie. My father, I believe, saw that movie way back in the 70s and thought, you know, he was like 10 years old and thought, wow, that guy's cool. And my last name's Johnson. So I'm going to have a kid named Jeremiah Johnson. And, you know, later he did. Yeah. So I have a similar baptismal origin story in that my parents got the idea for the name Jonah when they saw a black jazz trumpeter Jonah Jones play. And they're like, oh, Jonah, that's a really cool name um problem is when you attach it to
