Welcome to another edition of Lifestyle Thursday for Millennium Money. Hope you guys are doing well.

Calico, the band, is the California Americana Group, led by the powerful female duo of Manda Mosher and Kirsten Prophet.

The duo along with their full band are creating a modern day version of the California Vives Sound from the 70s and 80s with beautiful harmonies and rich vocals.

After working for a few years now, Calico is about to release their breakthrough album under Blue Skies, which drops September 15th.

And I actually got a chance to listen to this head of time, this album, and I'll mention this in the interview, but I really love this album. It was really great. I was really surprised of the

great melodies that they have, and the vocals are really spot on here. Actually, this new

collection of songs was recorded not too far away from our home here in the Sanford, down the

valley at a studio.

So I thought that was kind of interesting.

The first single and video for the album is an ode to one of the iconic bane of our existence here in L.A., the 405.
