Hello and a very warm welcome to a special episode of film stories with Simon Brew.

I am Simon Brew.

As always, it's absolutely everything you need to know about me.

At the aim of the podcast, well, usually every

week what I do is I tell the stories of two films. I tell production stories, development

stories behind the scene stories, bits and bobs like that. And they tend to be films with a bit

of a mainstream-leaning films that I'm interested, invested in. And every now and then, I'm lucky

enough to have a guest on to talk about their

films in a special episode of film stories and that's just what you've happened across here so

what's going to happen in this chat I'm going to be talking to director peter catanio now he sprung

to fame off the back of directing the full Monty. His first feature for which he got a

best director Oscar nomination, he'd already, by that stage, been nominated for a best short film Oscar as well.

But then off the back of the full Monty, he went and made a film I really like, and I love the

full Monty, but I really like 2001's lucky break, which I think is less heard of.
