Did I think that the Denver Nuggets had it in them to be able to pull off getting the second best defensive rating in the NBA for the first nine games of the season?

No, I did not.

I had speculated that they would have a route where they could be top 12. You know, this team from a personnel standpoint, outside of like, you know, Peyton Watson,

Bruce Brown, Aaron Gordon, Christian Brown, Cam Johnson, those are like their five legitimately known to well-known defenders.

These are players that have defensive reputations and have played in defensive systems before.

But what's happened is, and I got to give him a lot of credit, is David Adelman has done a great job with the wretch of the coaching staff to get the nuggets to commit to playing high level basketball.

And their communication has been very tight this year.
