Meal Akunis is my guest and I say that because she's just smart and cool and fun to talk

to and great to have a conversation with about anything.

Then we get a little weird because Ashton is running the New York City marathon.

Let's see, I don't want to spoil this too much, but he's experiencing some chafing during

his training.

And he and Mealah are trading tips about how to address that.

Mealah is in a new Netflix film called Luckiest Girl Alive.

It's based on a 2015 best-selling book by Jessica Nol.

The movie is produced by Mealah's production company.

And it is an intense movie, it is a dark movie.

You'll hear us kind of dance around it because we don't want to give away too much.

But I think you'll get the gist of it.

It's a heavy role and she does a great job in it.

So much to talk to her about.
