So over the last week or so, I've said that the NFC playoffs are deep and a bit wide open.

You may not agree with the last part of that.

You may think Detroit and Philly are head and shoulders above the others in the conference, but the depth of

this NFC playoff field is unmistakable. The aggregate record of the seven teams in the

NFC playoffs is 86 and 33. That's a 723 win percentage. I cannot imagine that there's ever been a stronger playoff

field record-wise in either conference. I was thinking that maybe somebody had done the homework

on that and had written about it,

but I can't find it anywhere.

I did find this, however.

This is the first year in the NFC since 2012 where all of the NFC playoff teams have at least 10 wins.

Now, back then, six teams in each conference went to the postseason. And of course, we remember 2012. Washington was a 10-and-6 division winner. They hosted

Seattle, who was an 11 and 5 wildcard team.

But it's been since 2012, so January of 2013, 12 years ago, that the NFCs had every

single team in its postseason have at least 10 wins.
