It was a good column.

Because there definitely is one thing to pick apart and pick out with the Patriots.

And that is, while we all agree that Brable helped himself yesterday

and the Patriots helped themselves yesterday

and stopped the bleeding from two weeks of bad responses and bad headlines and bad

developments.

Yesterday it was the first day in almost two weeks of the story that you would say they did

more good than harm.

So we all agree with that, but they could have done more good for themselves.

And one of the things that undercut them is the parameters under which this thing was, you know,

was presented in the first place.
