He is not the starting offensive tackle for the San Francisco 49ers. He's the voice of Notre Dame football on NBC, Mike Tarrico. We had a great interview with Mike. Some really cool insights about Brian Kelly covering Notre Dame football and what he's really looking forward to on November 7th.

Mike, thanks for coming on the show to talk a little bit about Notre Dame and sort of what has been like the last few years calling Notre Dame games, what it's like calling Notre Dame games this year. Yeah. And I guess... It's fun to be with you guys. And it's disappointing, Pete,

because, like, this,

this takes away 15 minutes of my week.

Yeah, hopefully you enjoyed Mike McGlinchy last week. He had some good tales. I have no, my offensive line skills

stopped when I was a seventh grader playing under the Whitestone Bridge in Queens, New York,

where I grew up. After that, my offensive line days were done. So I, uh, I do not belong in this,

in this thread, but I'll just hang my best I can. Well, why don't we start just with, I was, Matt and I have both spent some time with

Brian Kelly, you know, in one-on-one settings, and you get to do more of that being, or

certainly small groups with Tony Dungey or Doug Flutie and, you know, Rob Highland and that

group.

And I've always found Brian Kelly to be very insightful, funny, personable in those small

group settings. So I was curious about your experiences with him and also sort of comparing

and contrasting that with all the other head coaches, whether it be major programs or NFL
