We have an alternative Patriots team building approach to dig into today.

We had Joe Banner on a few weeks ago.

Again, part of that 33rd team group that they have there.

It's doing great work over on that website.

But Mike Tannenbaum, longtime NFL exec, worked under Bill Belichick as a player

personnel assistant back in 1995 was with Bill Belichick with the Jets in the late 90s.

He was general manager of the Jets, held a number of different positions for the Jets,

also executive vice president of football ops for the Dolphins.

And great to get his perspective on how to build this thing up again, because he is

somebody who has spent time with Bill Belichick.

He is part of the Belichick tree to a degree.

And to hear him discuss how the team could potentially attack its offseason approach,

I find to be really, really fascinating, especially since it doesn't necessarily

jive with some of the things that I think a lot of us would like to see the Patriots do.

So you want to see the Patriots go get a true number one on the outside. You want to see them load up on offense to help Mack Jones. Not sure you're going to love this conversation. You want to see the Patriots keep J.C. Jackson, no matter the cost, because he's that good, because he turns the ball over. You are going to like this conversation. Maybe you're going to love parts, you're going to hate parts. I don't know. But it is an outside, fresh perspective for us. And again, a very valuable one because of the background that Mike Tannenbaum has. So let's get into that conversation right now. Without further ado, Mike Tannenbaum, the 33rd team.
