Mike sure is with us and this is the deal around here. I don't want to overcomplicate things,

but basically we want to introduce you over a course of I don't know how many weeks and

months to some of the people who have most supported us in a way that feels good. You

know some of them. You've seen them hiding in the shadows. They've been hugely supportive

of what we do and they continue to be. One of those people is Mike sure. We got to know

him because he wrote the loveliest of articles. It's a weird story really because Mike sure

who was very busy, who was one of the guys in the Saturday night live writers room. A guy

who in the 2000s was at the epicenter of where great comedy was being made in America and

then parles that into being a writer for the office of generational comedy and then creating

parks and rec another generational comedy and now doing shows where he's allowed to have

full bursts of creative freedom in his 40s in a way that is substantive and just doing

good smart work, fun work with people he loves, which is the same thing that we do, which

is probably why he gravitated toward us in the first place, to waste his time writing

a slate article about a radio show in whatever it was 2018, 2019. And through all of that,

seeing how some of the spirit of what Mike sure wrote about us on slate was slowly sort

of soul sucked over the last couple of years. Mike sure was among the many who came to

our rushing support and defense out of love, friendship, kinship for the arts. Anyways,

all of which is a flowery way of saying thank you, Mike sure for everything it is that

you have helped us with in terms of support of the last couple of years and welcome to

helping the empire move forward in whatever role it is that you are now assuming with the

empire where you are lending your talents and your support in a way that's public that

allows us to introduce you to the audience through South Beach sessions as another one
