Jay sits down with Discovery legend, the voice of Deadliest Catch, Mike Row and they immediately dive into Mike's background as an opera singer! Plus Mike explains to Jay how "Dirty Jobs" (which returns on January 2nd) started as a one-off segment called "Somebody's Got To Do It" for Evening Magazine, and they got a lot of outraged letters, which actually got the segment going. Mike also dives into his first job, and how he actually got started in show business and what he loves most about what he does. We also get a raw take from Mike about how colleges are pushed as "the only way" to have a lucrative career, while hard labor jobs that he highlights on his show can be a way to a successful career, despite being made into a punchline by politicians. Jay and Mike also lay out how there's a fundamental issue with language in today's culture, and it all plays into things like the infrastructure bill and the "let's go Brandon" debates.
