Hey I'm John Gordon with Positive University and I'm with my friend Mike Robbins.

Mike is an author of a number of books.

He has a new one coming out.

Actually by the time you watch this, it will already be out. It's called

bring your whole self to work. It's an amazing book. Mike, tell us about that book and

what does it mean to bring your whole self to work? Well, first of all, John, it's good to see you,

good to be here, thanks for having me on.

I mean, I think this idea of bringing your whole self to work,

for me, you know, I mean, for the last 17 years,

I've been speaking all over the country and around the world and working with lots of teams and leaders and really you know at the core of what I try to teach and embody myself is a sense of authenticity and can we fully show up and be ourselves.

And you know from working with so many great teams over the years,

when you have that kind of environment on a team where people feel safe and

they feel like they can be themselves we don't all have to look the same act the same

talk the same have the same ideas then much more creativity innovation and, and success can happen.

So that's what bringing your whole self to work is really all about.

Yeah, I mean I'm really fortunate.
