Today's guest, you've probably heard his songs before.

And one of them is called Cooler than Me.

Another one's called, I Took a pill and a beza and his name is Mike Posner and this is a

buddy of mine who I've known for about a year and we finally got a chance during

South by Southwest to sit down and have a conversation. And I always love my episodes where I think about the things

that people say months later.

And there was just so many things that we talked about

about being a friend or being a fan.

Or what it's actually like to be famous.

You know that treadmill where like you're super famous and then it kind of starts

fading away and then how do you actually deal with that?

And what does it take to actually create a hit song?

Mike is super introspective, really, really smart, great to talk to.

I love chatting with them, super rooting for the dude.

He's also got a new dope poetry book out. I bought it. It's called

balloons and tear drops. So check that out and he's got a new album that I've

actually had on repeat called Mansions, M-A-N-S-I-O-N-Z, that's what I guess what the hipsters do.

This guy's just done so much in his career.

He's helped make songs for Beebar and Maroon Five and all these other things.
