It's been a long-ass week, but we still wanted to check in with everybody. So we're going to dive into whatever topics we want to talk about, whatever topics you guys want to talk about. can you stand up straight right now because i can't with my decisions so fair point i'm walking around chicago i went to the cubs game yesterday with my son and i'm walking around like because i can't with my decisions. Fair point. I'm walking around Chicago. I went to the Cubs game yesterday with my son, and I'm walking around because I can't walk, like, obbling around. Was it nice, warm out at Wrigley? It was a little chilly. The Cubs played like shit. They were awful. But it was nice. It was nice. Bought Teddy's first baseball cards yesterday. Very cool.

That's a milestone.

By the way, I'm glad you brought this up, though.

You and I are in the daily fight, and it is fucking exhausting.

What I like about you and I, though, is we come into this Friday show in whatever mood we're in.

And if we're happy and fired up, boom, we'll say it. Right now you and I are exhausted, not feeling great. And by the way, Mike, everybody listening to us, thank God you're listening, we're all this way. And you got to take time off and you got to pace yourself. That's what I would say. Yeah. I mean, I always talk about it as like acts of resistance.

And sometimes your act of resistance that day is taking a damn nap.

You know, or like mine yesterday was I pieced out at noon and I took Teddy to the Cubs game.

So like, you know, that's what it's all about.

I think we sometimes get so focused on the mission.

They want us to forget who we are,

and I'm not going to let them. But I'm tired today. Can I just pick your political brain?

You're tired today. I'm tired. But deep down inside Mike Nellis, politically, as I always say,

assuming we're having midterms, politically on March 27th, how are you feeling about

things right now?
