Bertha birthday boys, actor on love plays Randy, one of my favorite characters and we have to have to delve into it all, all that is Randy and your portrayal of Randy.

Oh for sure, we're at overlaps, what's the difference between the two of us? Let's just start right there. Here's the thing. I really like the show love and I think that you were my favorite part of it.

So Randy is, I'm trying to explain who Randy is for listeners who might not be familiar with the show or familiar with the characters specifically.

There's so many good parts of it too, so that's very nice of you to say.

Yeah, it's a multi-faceted show, but there's something to me so heartbreaking about your portrayal of this guy who's like, you don't even quite know if you like him or not.

He's like right in the middle of what, but there's something so innocent and vulnerable, but then, but not in a like, not in a simple pure, like he's complicated.

Yes, no, he's definitely complicated. I think there's definitely people who hate him because I'll read stuff online, I'll look at stuff and people do hate him. But I don't hate him.

I think he's a friendly guy. I just think he's one of those guys that I wonder if he'll ever get it together. You're rooting for him to get together.

I think he has a good spirit and he has big heart. I don't think that he's getting this like later, I guess mid stage of life or whatever.

And he can't really get a job or hold on a job. I don't know if he wants to grow up. Maybe that's kind of like a degraded thing.

Yeah, maybe that's the part that I don't know why he tugs at my heartstrings so much. I don't know if that's like something specific to me or if that's universal about him.

Like what do you think? And let me just so he's the romantic. So the show basically focuses on this relationship between two characters.

And one of them has a roommate played by Claudia Odority. That's her last name, right? She's hilarious.

She's so funny. Impal and Gillian are so funny. There's a lot of there's so many great people on the show.

Yeah. And Claudia is so awesome to play against because she's like.

And so you play the romantic you play Claudia's romantic interest. That's right. Yeah.

And boyfriend and girlfriend basically right and you don't have a job. I don't have a job now. And you borrow and in that episode where you borrowed money from her.

That was the one that like really just I don't know. I just was reading a recap of it this morning and I felt all those emotions all over again.

I don't have a real soft spot on my heart for Randy. Me too because I feel like I can relate to like a couple things with him.
