ways that Robert Salah can make an immediate impact for the 49ers. But first, Mike McCarthy

is not going to take the Saints job or any job this year, and he's going to sit it out and prepare for the 2026 hiring cycle.

Again, second year that he is, sat it out.

Now, last time it wasn't by choice.

Now, if you've been listening to the show for a while, you know, I wasn't a huge

fan of Mike McCarthy as a Super Bowl contending coach, but he is an NFL worthy head coach. I believe

he's a pro. I believe he's one of the best 32 available. And I think he should be back in next year.

And in fact, I actually think it's not crazy what he's doing.

As I look at it right now, there is the possibility that one of these jobs is open next year.

And all of these jobs are more attractive than the Saints job. It's possible that next year is the year, maybe, maybe, maybe, that the Steelers job is

open? And maybe. I bet he's looking at two or three other jobs, though.

I bet he's looking at the Miami Dolphins job and thinking, what if Mike McDaniel is further

under 500 next year?
