All right. We're going to do this. We're going to do this. Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House,

might have just blown it with the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act. This is close to a $900 billion bill,

but he did get through the House of Representatives and is heading

towards Joe Biden's desk. Now, in order for Mike Johnson to get the defense bill into the

Senate and onto Biden's desk, he turned on his very own Freedom Caucus. He turned on Trump.

He turned on the far-right Christian nationalists who made

him speaker. It might have been a profile in courage. He might have decided to put on his

big boy pants. Maybe, just maybe, it means we'll see a Ukraine supplemental next week without it being tied to a neo-Nazi immigration bill.

But Mike Johnson definitely blew it.

He blew it with the idiots who made him speaker.
