Hello, everyone back in the office again. I did a podcast a couple days ago, but I've pretty much been gone for almost two and a half, maybe three months.

During that time, I was in Northern British Columbia, came back. I think I was back a day,

a full day, and then I went down to Colorado to help out Mike Hearn on a mountain goat hunt,

which is who was on the podcast with me today, Mike's down in Colorado Springs, one of my best friends, and has some good news to

announce other than the goat hunt that he found out while he was on the goat hunt, but

what's cracking in Colorado Springs?

It's a city, and I hate it, but I am going to, I have an official approved retirement date.

I have orders in hands from Uncle Sam.

So that's a step in the right direction.

Yeah, yeah, for sure.

But, but yeah.

So, Mike, I figured we'd talk about the, excuse me, the goat, that ended up being much more difficult than I certainly

thought it would be, but it was a, it was a fun time, some pretty crazy, uh, pretty crazy weather and,

uh, not a lot of goats, but, uh, but yeah, tell everybody, you know, let everybody know kind of

what happened with the goat tag and everything. Well, so I drew the goat tag with relatively low points in Colorado and immediately reached

out to you because you are the goat when it comes to goats.

So immediately reached out to you and you're like, fuck yeah, I'm coming, which is dumbfound

to me a little bit just because I know how busy you are and what that means for you to take time away from your schedule and the plethora

of obligations that you have. So that made me super excited, and I'm extremely appreciative for that,

Aaron. But so we kind of made a plan to make it a real backcountry adventure with horses

and, and all the things.

And it was, it was every bit of an adventure.
