This week, the SPN radio host and maybe soon to be more than that, Mike Greenberg.

And Fox, NFL officiating are Mike Pereira, the former NFL vice president of officiating.

I recorded both of these conversations in Houston earlier this month

when I was there for the Super Bowl. I recorded the

Pereira conversation for our first ever MMQB live podcast at St. Arnold

Brewery in Houston. I ask Greenberg if his future is going to include something beyond radio.

So the conversation that was brought to me was, under the right circumstances, would you be interested

in trying something new? And my answer was under the right circumstances would you be interested in trying something new and my answer was under the right circumstances yes

We're working to figure out whether we get to those right circumstances or not I asked Pereira about a special project he's working on with both officiating and veterans coming

back from overseas in mind.

We started a foundation called Vets Terefs.

And so what we do is we give full scholarships

to returning vets to become sports officials

in their communities.
