football giants coach welcome how are you how's it going, Mike? Good, thank you, Coach. As you get ready for week number one, how are things? Well, we're putting the roster together. You know, we're putting the final players in place, and we're certainly ready to get going. You know, I think we've had a productive training camp and for the most part, we're pretty

healthy and so we'll get out there tomorrow and get ready to get going here.

Coach, a lot of attention paid to the backup quarterback situation.

Now, backup quarterback here is really a backup considering Eli's incredible record of endurance

and his ability to stay healthy.

What was the key, or what can you tell us about the decisions you made at backup quarterback?

Well, we looked at it, you know, really in two parts.

You know, you have Eli Manning, and then we were going to try to find out who was going to back him up.

And, you know, that's really what every team does when they go into the season.

Somebody questioned me yesterday about a succession plan.

But, you know, when you go into a season, you have a starter and you have backups.

And, you know, we felt like the best combination of guys was to keep Alec Taney and obviously

Kyle Aletta.

Did you – was it a Webb-Leletta thing?

Was that what we saw?

Was that he just was more impressive than Webb was?
