Hi, Joe. The difference here this series is nobody anywhere is picking Ottawa. I mean,

everybody's picking the ranges. It's unbelievable. Ottawa's getting no respect. The underdogs in the

series with the odds makers, I mean, so they are not getting any respect.

What do you think about that?

I think it's a mistake not to give them respect, Mike.

This is a team that's gone through a real transformation this season.

If you forget this season and go back to a couple of previous seasons,

and when you asked what type of team is

Ottawa, Ottawa was always a team that was one of the highest scoring teams in the league

that could not defend, had an excellent goaltender, but gave up too many scoring chances,

and missed the playoffs. They hire a new coach in Guy Boucher, who was the head coach in Tampa and took

them to a conference finals a few years ago, got fired, went over and spent three years

coaching in Europe.

They hire him, and he comes over, and as he looks at the tapes of this team, and he says,

how am I going to get this team in the playoffs with this personnel?

He decided that the first thing I need to do is we need to keep the puck out of our net

and be better defensively.

So he basically took the same group of players that they had,

and they turned them into one of the better defensive
