I'm good, Mike. How are you? All right, Joe. A couple of tough... Listen, you're not used to losing very much lately, so these last couple of games, a couple of tough games for you. Yeah, really tough. There were games that I thought that we could have won. And, you know, we hit the balls hard in some certain situations that were caught. It probably was the difference in the games.

But I still like the way we're swinging the bats, and I thought we threw the ball pretty well. Michael struggled a little bit early last night, but he found a way to give us six innings, which was important. Well, last night you couldn't have loved because he's got a 4-0 lead. You figure, okay, he's going to be on his way, and he let them catch up pretty quick. Yeah, he just, his stuff, his stuff wasn't right yesterday, and you know, you wonder, you know, I don't make excuses for people, but he's, he sat a long time before he went out there in the first inning, and he never really seemed to get comfortable. I thought he was up in his own, you know, for the first three, four innings, and then, you know, again, he gave us a chance to win that game because he settled down a little bit. But, you know, I look at the ball, the judge hit and dive and catch on the left field. If he misses it, it's probably two runs and a triple. I mean, it just, you know, the ball that Gardy hit the night before he smoked, and Calhoun made a good catch.

So it's just one of those trips, one of those cities.

All right, but the team has been playing well as heads to Oakland.

Number one, Bird, how's he doing?

Well, you know, I found out today that, you know, he said his leg's still not right.

Wow.

I was wondering why he has been gone so long, so he's still not right. Well, I mean, he, you know, he said it today that he hit a ball off his leg the other day. We don't know if some of the swelling went down. He's back to seeing Dr. Ahmad. So, you know, I can't really tell you.

I've not heard from, you know, our doctor yet what they think about.

Wow.

Does that make you take any different approach to what you will do at first base?

No.

I mean, it's still going to be Carter most of the time.

You know, I played, you know, a holiday there yesterday to give Judge a D.H. Day, and I'll probably give

holiday the day off today and D.H. Sanchez, you know, because we're in the midst of three long

stretches with another one coming up, and these guys need some days. Any thoughts of putting

Headley over there and putting Terres the third? Would you do that for a day if you had to or no? I mean, I guess you could do it for a day if you had to, but as of right now, and I'll probably just stay with what we got. All right, and no thoughts of bringing anybody else up, right?
