giants is eli manning eli welcome how are you um doing good mike how are you? All right, Eli, tough one yesterday. Tough second half. Your thoughts? Yeah, you know, just going against a good defense, a good team. We knew they're kind of a second half team, especially in the fourth quarter. You know, they played a lot of close games, and then their offensive kind of clicked, and their defense to play well, especially in the fourth quarters, and kind of the same thing happened to us.

So we needed to get a lead and, you know, make some play, especially in the second half,

and just weren't able to do that.

They had a, you know, they got very good players, they got, you know, a good team, and we just couldn't quite, you know, we ran the ball okay. We just couldn't quite execute on some third downs and make enough plays to win it. You know, Eli, you had him 7-3 at the half. What are you thinking at that point? Well, you know, I thought, you know, we didn't play great.

Obviously, it didn't play great in the first half.

We ran the ball okay.

You know, we had some third and shorts where we tried to run it and weren't able to convert.

You know, we weren't able to convert many third downs.

But, you know, defense got us one turnover and turned that into a touchdown, which is nice.

But, you know, we knew it would be a game where, you know, we were going to have to make a couple big plays. And we just didn't quite get it. We had a couple of nice plays, hit some, you know, hit some, you know, shallow passes to Evan, let them run for some distance. But, you know, we knew we were going to have to hit a go-rout or get a couple big plays on them, and we just weren't able to do that.

That's a very tough team to go up against, if you don't have experience wide receivers.

They're so good at what they do in the secondary.

Their personnel there's on such a high level.

Very tough team to play against.

Yeah, and they're kind of a veteran crew on defense, and the same guy's been around for

a while. So, you know, not overly complex, what they do, but what they do, they do very well.

They got a good defensive front. And so, you know, we just weren't able to get much going.
